Ingredients

  • 1 Yellow Onion

  • 4 Garlic Cloves

  • 1 can of White Beans

  • Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil

  • 1 block Medium Tofu

  • 1 handful of Fresh Spinach

  • 3 tbsp Nutritional Yeast

  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1-2 tbsp Light Miso

  • 1 cup Soy Milk

  • Optional Toppings
  • Chili Crisp

  • Lemon Juice

Directions

  • In a large pan or pot heat oil, add thinly sliced onions, reduce heat and cook to caramelize.
  • Add sliced or crushed garlic and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Blend all sauce ingredients. Pour mixture into the pan before adding drained and rinsed beans.
  • Stir to combine and cook for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
  • Top with optional toppings
  • Serve with crusty bread or on a bead of rice.
